摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a liquid jet head having a liquid supply needle capable of suppressing a flow resistance of the liquid supply needle and improving a strength of a metallic mold. SOLUTION: A mold 51 for molding the liquid supply needle 27 consists of a male mold 52 and a female mold 53 which are fitted with each other in a predetermined positional relationship. A multiple-stage structure section 54 in which diameter sections of which the tip portion 82 side diameter section is smaller than the other are coaxially arranged is provided to a part forming the tip portion 82 of the male mold 53. A plurality of communication hole forming members 55 for forming liquid communication holes 49A, 50A are provided to a site of the female mold 52 for forming the tip portion 82 such that they are projected toward roughly the center of the liquid supply needle 27 from the inner face of the female mold 52. A molding material is injected to the mold 51 in a condition that a plurality of contact faces 55A formed on the communication hole forming members 55 are contacted with the respective stages of the multiple-stage structure section 54 at concentric circles of the male mold 53. As a result, it is possible to obtain the liquid communication holes 49A, 50A each having a small channel resistance and to improve the strength and the durability of the mold.
