PLASTIC-EXTRUDING TYPE CENTRAL-CYLINDER PROFILE AND PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central cylinder capable of corresponding to various filters having different diameters and lengths. SOLUTION: A filter 10 for a fluid system has a housing 12 having an inner hollow. A filter material 24 is arranged in the housing to define a central opening part 27. The central cylinder 35 is arranged in the central opening part and has a plurality of spiral fins 38 radially extending outward from a central part of the central cylinder. The spiral fins end at outer side parts adjacent to the filter material. The central cylinder provides a desired structural completeness while making the fluid possible to flow in this central cylinder. The central cylinder is produced by a plastic extruding process.
