PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod in which mobile guides are linearly arranged in good accuracy to a top guide and defect of uneven stripes of a backward seat is prevented and durability is improved. SOLUTION: In the fishing rod, the top guide TG is provided and guide seats Z1, Z2 and Z3 are provided at a plurality of places in the longitudinal direction of outer periphery of a tapered ear tip rod 10 made of a fiber-reinforced resin, and many uneven stripes directing in the longitudinal direction of the ear tip rod 10 and having definite pitch angles are provided and angle position of recessed stripe of each seat which is nearest to center line of the top guide, to the plane is the same as the uneven pitch angle among seats. Uneven stripes having definite pitch angles are provided in the internal circumference of a mounting cylinder of a mobile guide mounted on each guide seat and the number of unevenness on the cylinder is the same as the number of unevenness on the seat or an integral multiple of the number of unevenness on the seat, and angle position of protruded stripes on the cylinder side which are nearest to guide center line of each mobile guide to the plane and pitch angle of protruded stripes are same among mobile guides.
