<p>The method involves producing a number of directional microphone signals (RMS1,RMS2) by weighted combination of signals from at least two microphones (M1,...M5), the weighting defining a respective direction-dependent sensitivity of the direction microphone system (RSM, RMS1, RMS2). The directional microphone signals are normalized to an equal sensitivity in a direction range. The directional microphone signal having the lowest interference signal content is selected as the output directional microphone signal (ARMS,ARMS1,ARMS2). An independent claim is included for an apparatus for carrying out the method.</p> |
