The trip includes an electromagnetic tripping device which actuates the low-voltage circuit breaker when the voltage falls below a preset threshold. A rectifier bridge supplied from a multi-phase supply has a number branches corresponding to the number of phases (L1,L2,L3) and providing a common supply to the tripping device. In the event of a failure of one phase (L1,L2,L3) the tripping device causes all poles of the low-voltage threshold trip to be tripped. The rectifier bridge may be a three-pulse bridge circuit or a six-pulse bridge circuit.
