摘要 PURPOSE: An electronic direct-injection type pneumatic engine is provided to effectively control compressed air by performing intake and exhaust operations for the compressed air with a solenoid valve and to reduce the loss of energy and improve compression efficiency by directly injecting the compressed air into the engine without loss. CONSTITUTION: An electronic direct-injection type pneumatic engine is composed of an air supply unit(10), an engine unit(20), and a control unit(16). The air supply unit comprises an air tank(11) for storing and feeding the air at the predetermined pressure; a regulator(12) for decompressing the air injected from the air tank; and an accumulator(14) for supplying the fixed quantity of the air fed from the regulator. The engine unit has a piston mounted in a cylinder to reciprocate vertically, directly injects the compressed air supplied from the air supply unit into a pressure chamber disposed in a cylinder head by mounting electronic intake and exhaust valves in the cylinder head, and accordingly generates power by pressurizing downward the piston and rotating a crankshaft. The control unit controls the opening and closing of the electronic intake and exhaust valves by a signal output from sensors installed at the air supply unit and the engine unit.
