PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing small spring pin are provided to prevent damage of forming rod or spring pin by partially dividing strip into several sequential bending sections, thereby sequentially bending the partially divided sections of the strip and improve productivity and quality by continuously performing chamfering, cutting and bending. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises chamfering rollers(2) on both side walls of which an inclined chamfering groove(4) is formed to chamfer corners of strip(1); a forming rod(3) installed at the exit side of the chamfering rollers to form a hollow part of the spring pin by winding the strip; an upper die(6) installed in an upper part of the forming rod and moved up and down to bend and cut the strip at the same time when the upper die is lowered; left lower support(7) and right lower support(8) transferred up and down with being installed to support a lower part of the forming rod; left lower bending die(9) and right lower bending die(10) slantly installed side parts of the left lower support and the right lower support respectively to bend left lower part and right lower part of the strip respectively as the left lower bending die and the right lower bending die are being moved up and down; and an extractor(11) for extracting the spring pin by pushing a spring pin completed with being inserted into the forming rod.
