PURPOSE: A device for automatically controlling a volume of a car audio is provided to sense whether passengers are seated through plural sensors installed at car sheets, and to decide positions of the passengers as well as the number of the passengers. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(20) senses whether passengers are seated by being installed at a car sheet, and generates/outputs a sensing signal. A microcomputer(30) stores volume data on positions of the passengers and the number of the passengers according to the outputted sensing signal. A signal processor(40) outputs a control signal for controlling a volume of plural speakers(11,12,13,14) installed at a car according to the volume data stored in the microcomputer(30). An amplifier(50) amplifies the control signal outputted from the signal processor(40), and transmits the amplified signal to the plural speakers(11,12,13,14).
