PURPOSE: Livestock feed including sawdust of Rhus verniciflua Stokes and lecithin is provided. It improves resistance to disease and meat quality while reducing toxicity of Rhus verniciflua Stokes when fed to animal. CONSTITUTION: The livestock feed contains 1 to 20% by weight of sawdust of Rhus verniciflua Stokes and 0.1 to 0.8% by weight of lecithin, based on the total weight of the livestock feed. In the water holding capacity test of the feed with a filter paper press method, feeding sawdust of Rhus verniciflua Stokes and lecithin show better results than that of only Rhus verniciflua Stokes when fed to cows. |
