PURPOSE: A method for generating a transmission encryption key value and a mutual authentication method using the same are provided to enhance the security by improving a process for generating a transmission encryption key value between terminals. CONSTITUTION: A second terminal generates a first connecting initial setup value according to a connecting request of a first terminal, encrypts the first connecting initial setup value as a transmission encryption key value of the second terminal, and transmits the encrypted value to the first terminal(S10-S12). The first terminal encrypts the encrypted value to the transmission encryption key value of the first terminal and transmits the encrypted value to the second terminal(S13). The second terminal decrypts the transmission encryption key value of the first terminal on the basis of the encrypted value of the first terminal(S14). A final transmission encryption key value is generated by combining the transmission encryption key value of the first terminal with the transmission encryption key value of the second terminal(S15).
