PURPOSE: A magnetic head is provided to determine a position of a holder inside a sealed case by inserting the holder having a magnetic core, in order to determine a height position of the sealed case in a magnetic gap portion, thereby improving precision on a position determination of the magnetic core. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic core assembly(8) configured by mounting a magnetic core(11) on a bobbin(17) comprising a holder(10) is inserted into a sealed case(7). A hooking concave portion(7f) determines a height of the sealed case(7) by being hooked over a portion of the folder(10) by exposing a magnetic gap portion(G) to a window portion formed on a medium sliding surface of the sealed case(7).
