The versions of the inventions relate to mining, in particular to sunk pneumatic hammer mechanisms for well drilling. The sunk pneumatic hammer has adapter (1) with air supply channels (2), the body (3) with exhaust openings (4) and (5), piston-hammer (6), this separates the body (3) to chambers of direct flow (7) and back flow (8), and air distribution system to which there are included the valve box (9) arranged as one piece with the adapter (1), the valve (10), air distribution pipe (1) and saddle (12) with channels (13), those are connected to the direct flow chamber (7). The saddle (12) is placed in the adapter (1) and is arranged with circular boss (14) equipped with reboring (15) going to conical support surface (16) on which with a gap with respect to the saddle (12) air distribution pipe (11) is installed, and the valve (10) is installed at the outer surface of the circular boss(14) of the saddle (12). The saddle (12) is fixed in adapter (1) with a stopper ring (17). According to the second version of the sunk pneumatic hammer the air supply channel (2) is circular, the valve box is equipped with slots (21) for air supply to the circular channel (2), and it has as well bosses (18). The adapter (1) has circular reboring (19) to which the bosses (18) of the valve box (9) go. The saddle (12) is installed in adapter (1) with possibility of axial displacement and is fixed with pin (20). These inventions promote increase of productivity of the sunk pneumatic hammer, reliability of its operation, and simplification of its assembling and disassembling.
