PURPOSE: A welding electrode holder is provided to strongly and easily hold a welding electrode by attenuating restoring force of a spring provided in the welding electrode holder. CONSTITUTION: A welding electrode holder(10) includes a holder body(11) having a cylindrical shape. A handle made from an insulation material protrudes from one side of the holder body(11). A chuck includes a plurality of chuck parts aligned in a radial pattern, a return spring installed at one end of the chuck part in order to bias chuck parts such that they are adjacent to each other position and a fastening ring surrounding each chuck part. The chuck parts hold one end of the welding electrode(60) when they are adjacent to each other and releases the welding electrode(60) when they are separated from each other. A lever(20) is mounted in parallel to the handle.
