PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for making artificial petals, which automatically performs a molding process of the artificial petals with transferring textile for molding the petals by the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A first upper metal mold (20) and a second upper metal mold (22) are fixed at the same height, and an arm (30) is combined to move the first and second upper molds at the same time. A container (50) for containing textile before molding and a container (52) for containing textile after molding are arranged at both sides of a lower metal mold (40). Preferably, the container for the textile before molding (54) and the container for the textile after molding (56) are put on height adjustable stages (60,62), respectively, by an actuator. A height of the textile (54) that is located at the uppermost is recognized by a position sensor and then a height of the stage is adjusted to keep the height of the uppermost textile constant. A heater is mounted on one of the upper metal mold to heat the surface of the lower metal mold so that the textile before molding is pressed with heating, thereby being molded as a petal shape.
