The method for transforming flat metal material (16) into corrugated structure (18) with specified corrugation height and cross-sectional shape involves adjustment of axial distance (A) between forming rolls (28,30), as well as adjustment of flank clearance between meshing roll teeth (32,32). Adjustment of flank clearance takes place by angular displacement of rolls relative to one another. Independent claims are also included for (a) apparatus for implementation of the proposed method for producing a corrugated structure; (b) a method for continuous production of a compound material with a corrugated element; and (c) installation for continuous production of a compound material with a corrugated element.
