On a toroidal support (1) a first series of strip-like segments (13) are laid, on whose terminal edges are applied primary portions of respective bead reinforcement structures (4). Each primary portion (4a) comprises an elastomeric filler (22) applied in axially exterior prosition relative to a first annular insert (21) formed by an elongated element wound according to radially superposed turns (21a). A second series of segments (14) are interposed each in the space defined between two segments of the first series (13), with respective terminal edges superposed to the primary portion (4a). A second annular insert (24) formed by a filiform element wound according to radially superposed turns is applied externally against the terminal edges of the segments of the second series (14), to form an additional portion of the annular reinforcing structure (4), having lesser radial extension than that of the first annular insert (21). |
