The key has a head in which a mobile mechanism is inserted. The mechanism is activated from initial position which permits a comb (4) to activate locking cylinder towards a prohibition position in which an end of a limiter engages the comb on a pre-set distance. The comb is moved, with respect to its initial position, to a distance not permitting the comb to activate the cylinder when the comb is introduced in the cylinder.
