The garment (1) has an inner section (10) against the body of the wearer, with at least one bonding ribbon (14) along the relevant part of the body e.g. the arm, leg or neck. An outer section (20) is over the inner part, linked together by the bonding ribbon. The bonding ribbon, of an elastic material, is located where the garment rubs against the body. The waistbands (11,21) are separate, and are held together by buttons (30) or press studs.
