The device has four bases placed at four corners of concrete block. The bases are placed at centre of high concentration of concrete in which the corners are formed. A shaft of the bases is embedded in the concrete. The bases are made up of steel or deformable material by impact. Thickness of horizontal joint between two successive rows of blocks is measured.
