PURPOSE: A portable apparatus for guiding integrated services is provided to guide local information as well as traffic information of a corresponding region by using the position information received from a GPS satellite. CONSTITUTION: A GPS reception portion(110) receives the position information of a transportation from a GPS satellite(300). A map database(120) is used for storing map data. A guide database(130) is used for storing guide data corresponding to traffic data and local data. A decision portion(140) decides the presence of the traffic data or the local data of a corresponding region on the basis of the present position of the corresponding transportation. A guide data output portion(150) outputs the guide data corresponding to the traffic data and the local data of the decision portion(140). A direction detection portion(160) grasps the moving direction of the corresponding transportation and outputs a signal to the decision portion(140). An update portion(170) receives the changed map data or the changed guide data and updates map database(120) and the guide database(130).
