PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system that can properly or automatically apply remote control to power supply to an existing electric apparatus by utilizing a remote control power supply apparatus capable of easily controlling supply of power to the existing electric apparatus at a low cost on the basis of a command from a terminal on an electric communication line such as the Internet and a LAN and whereby it is expected that abnormal circumstances are dealt with without the need for rushing in a site wherein the abnormal circumstances such as illegal intrusion to a house take place. SOLUTION: The remote control system for remotely dealing with abnormal circumstances caused at a place to be supervised by a supervisory camera is characterized in to include the remote control power supply apparatus capable of easily controlling supply of power to the electric apparatus on the basis of information from the terminal connected through the electric communication line such as the Internet.
