PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray light-shielding agent which can be uniformly contained in a coating as a light-shielding paint to be applied to an agricultural film and which can be applied on a film in an evenly dispersed state to simply obtain a light-shielding effect that can endure prolonged use. SOLUTION: The spray light-shielding agent comprises calcium carbonate with an average particle size of 1μm or less, silica with an average particle size of 1-50 nm, a resin emulsion and water, wherein 1-60 pts. wt. of calcium carbonate with an average particle size of 1μm or less, 0.1-10 pts. wt. of silica with an average particle size of 1-50 nm, and 0.1-20 pts. wt. in terms of solids of a resin emulsion are added based on 100 pts. wt. of water.
