PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition having a small coefficient of linear expansion and sufficient strength and heat resistance, and excellent in dielectric characteristics, and a molded automobile exterior panel made from the resin composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition contains (A) a polyolefin resin, (B) a polyphenylene ether based resin, (C) an inorganic filler having a relative permittivity of 50 or higher, and (D) a plate-like and/or needle-like inorganic filler having an aspect ratio of 5 or higher, wherein the weight ratio of the content of the resin (A) to that of the resin (B) is (95:5) to (35:65), the contents of the resin (C) and the filler (D) respectively are 10-250 pts.wt. and 1-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total of the resin (A) and the resin (B), and the resin (A) forms a continuous phase.
