PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crystalline zirconium phosphate comprising trivalent or more metallic elements. SOLUTION: The crystalline zirconium phosphate is expressed by the general formula of [M(Zr<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>)<SB>n</SB>]<SB>m</SB>-[RZr<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>]<SB>1-mn</SB>; and (1) has a crystal structure characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern having specified d-intervals; and (2) is expressed by the formula of 2MO<SB>0.5n</SB>-4nZrO<SB>2</SB>-3nP<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>as oxide by analytic calculation; wherein, M denotes one or more kinds of trivalent or more metallic elements; R denotes H, H<SB>3</SB>O or an NH<SB>4</SB>cation; n denotes the average valence of each metallic element; and 0<m≤1 is satisfied.
