PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting device capable of rigidly and accurately fitting an alternator without hindering fitting working efficiency and productivity. SOLUTION: A main support part 5 provided with a bolt hole 7 and an auxiliary support part 6 provided with a guide hole 8 facing to the bolt hole 7 are provided in an engine side bracket 4. A bolt 10 is inserted from the bolt hole 7 of the main support part 5 into a bolt hole 3 of an alternator side bracket 2, which is pinched between the support parts 5 and 6 with a clearance 9, so that a tip thereof faces to the guide hole 8. An insert end of a nut 11 inserted to the guide hole 8 from an opposite side of the bolt 10 is provided with a recessed part 13 to form a thin deforming part 14. A tip screw part of the bolt 10 is screwed to a screw hole 12 of the nut 11 to push the insert end of the nut 11 to the end surface of the alternator side bracket 2 for holding to deform the deforming part 14 of the nut 11 by utilizing the fastening thrust force of the bolt 10 to eliminate the insert clearance between the guide hole 8 and the nut 11.
