METHOD FOR BAKING PARTICLE OR LUMPY MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for baking a particle or lumpy material capable of efficiently removing a fine powder from the particle or lumpy material before charged in a rotary kiln by a simple constitution not only to perform stable baking but also to enhance productivity. SOLUTION: Air heated to 80°C or above is sprayed on the particle or lumpy material before charged in the rotary kiln to reduce the amount of the fine powder in the particle or lumpy material to 2 wt.% or below before charging the particle or lumpy material in the rotary kiln to bake the same.
