FILTER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter excellent in hydrophilicity and heat resistance and not damaged in its filtering characteristics or hydrophilicity even after heat treatment such as sterilization treatment. SOLUTION: The filter is constituted by providing a coating layer containing a hydrophilic polymer and a heat-resistant polymer on the surface of a filter base material and manufactured by repeating a process (1) for immersing the filter base material in a solution containing the hydrophilic polymer and the heat-resistant polymer and a process (2) for drying the filter base material treated in the process (1).
