<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resinous crown-shaped retainer simultaneously holding a necessary amount of grease and supplying a necessary amount of base oil to a ball and a track. <P>SOLUTION: In the synthetic resinous crown-shaped retainer, seven of pockets 13 surrounded both sides by a hook-shaped protrusion 12 and having an axial opening, and grease placing surfaces 14 are formed on one side surface of an annular base portion 11 in a circumferential direction at regular intervals. A tip end side tilting surface of an outside surface of the hook-shaped protrusion 12 is formed with a warping surface 12a extending from a center line to an outside end in an inner peripheral surface 11a side of an annular base portion 11, and a warping surface 12a extending from the center line to an outside end in an outer peripheral surface 11b side of the annular base portion 11, and becomes so to speak a horseback-shaped tilting surface. A grease reservoir 15 of a shallow bottom hole is formed on the grease placing surface 14, and an auxiliary grease reservoir 17 of a shallow bottom hole communicating to the grease reservoir 15 through a groove is formed on a base end side tilting surface 12c on an outside surface of the hook-shaped protrusion 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
