<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sheet aligning precision by giving proper conveyance force stably even when thickness of sheet bundles differ. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet handling device has a compile tray 105 receiving supplied sheets and stacking them, an end wall 151 knocking a rear end of the stacked sheet against the compile tray 105, a compile paddle 111 provided in the vicinity of the end wall 151 to draw the sheet supplied on the compile tray 105 close to the end wall 151, a subpaddle 121 provided in the direction of tip of the sheet more than the compile paddle 111 to assist drawing by the compile paddle 111, a staple head 161 performing staple processing for a bundle of sheets aligned on the end wall 151, and a control part changing distance from an upper face of the compile tray 105 in the subpaddle 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
