<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently fit a bag for pulse wave detection to the recessed and projecting shape of a body surface in a cuff provided with a bag for avascularization and the bag for pulse wave detection. <P>SOLUTION: The double cuff 10 is provided with: the bag 28 for avascularization of the artery 48; and the bag 26 for pulse wave detection arranged on the side of an inner peripheral surface of the bag 28 for avascularization to detect a pulse wave from the artery 48. On the inner peripheral surface of the bag 26 for pulse wave detection, a shape variable bag 40 filled with water is provided. Thus, when pressure in the bag 28 for avascularization and the bag 26 for pulse wave detection is raised, pressure to the side of the body surface is applied to the shape variable bag 40 arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the bag 26 for pulse wave detection. As for the shape variable bag 40 filled with the water, the surface of the side of the body surface is deformed with the pressure corresponding to the recessed and projecting shape of the body surface, and a surface on the side of the bag 26 for pulse wave detection is deformed with the pressure corresponding to the shape of the inner peripheral surface of the bag 26 for pulse wave detection.
