<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-mounting air conditioner having a filter requiring less labor and cost for the replacement thereof and preventing the capacity of an indoor unit from being lowered. <P>SOLUTION: In this wall-mounting air conditioner, a rotatably driving mechanism 45 is installed on the outer periphery of an indoor heat exchanger 20, a rotating cylindrical filter 32 is installed, and a dust collecting mechanism 57 for collecting dust caught by the filter 32 is installed adjacent to the filter 32. Since the wall-mounting air conditioner 100 can be operated by using a new filter surface by performing air conditioning operation while rotating the filter during the operation of the air conditioner, the capacity of the indoor unit is not lowered and the filter surface of the filter 32 is renewed by the dust collecting mechanism 57.
