PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map-processing system for vehicles which detects roads adjacent to an existing road as a new road. SOLUTION: A comparison decision part 14 for calculating position information and a vehicle information collection device 1 consisting of a communication processor 18 for communicating with the outside are provided to a vehicle. A server 2 constituted of: a server communication processor 24 for communicating; a server position information temporary storing section 22 for temporarily storing position information which does not coincide with road map information; a server comparison-decision part 21 for comparing and deciding at least whether the positional information from the vehicle information collection device 1 almost coincides with the positional information of the server position information temporary memory 22 or with the road map information; and an updating means for updating the positional information as a new road, when it coincides with the running track of the server position information temporary storing section 22 a plural number of times by the comparison decision of the server comparison-decision part 21, is provided outside the vehicle.
