PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aromatic silane compound in a high yield. SOLUTION: The aromatic silane compound is produced by subjecting an aromatic compound having at least one leaving group (X) bonded to a carbon atom of an aromatic ring and a silane compound having a hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom to coupling reaction caused by the HX-leaving reaction of the leaving group (X) with the hydrogen atom bonded to the silicon atom of the silane compound.
