PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve generation of a high speed LD modulation signal, high speed transmission of an LD modulation signal and high speed driving of a semiconductor laser (LD). SOLUTION: An image data generation part 110 and an LD modulation signal generation part 120 are constituted on the same substrate (PCB) or the same ASIC 10. A LD driving part 170 is constituted on a substrate different from the above substrate or an ASIC 20 and arranged approaching a semiconductor laser (LD) 190. A small amplitude differential signal output 130 is arranged at the output side of the LD modulation signal generation part 120, a small amplitude differential signal input 160 is arranged at the input side of the LD driving part 170, and an LD modulation signal is transmitted between the PCB/the ASI 10, 20 by a differential signal of small amplitude.
