PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a processing for carrying image data of YMCK almost simultaneously to a plurality of photosensitive drums with a time difference of moving a transfer paper between the photosensitive drums. SOLUTION: An SIMD type processor initializes an error additional value for two lines before when the present image data are on the first line, and initializes the error additional value when image data to be subjected to error diffusion operation this time are on the 1SIMD. When they are not in the 1SIMD, and the color of the error data after error diffusion operation in the previous SIMD is not the same as that of the image data which are being operated at present, the operation result of the previous SIMD is stored as a different color of the previous line, and the reference position of a blue noise table is also stored. The blue noise reference position in the previous error diffusion operation of the same color is called. If it has the same color, the error additional value of two lines before are stored as data of one line before in the previous SIMD, the data of two lines before in the present SIMD and the data of the present SIMD are read from a memory and from the present line, respectively, to operate the error additional value, and the operation of error diffusion processing is sequentially performed in a sequential image data processing part.
