PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst-deposited carrier which has a catalytic fine particle deposited satisfactorily on even the inside of a pore of a porous base body having minute pore size and exhibits excellent characteristics as a catalyst, and to provide a method for manufacturing the catalyst-deposited carrier. SOLUTION: The catalyst-deposited carrier 1 is obtained by dissolving a precursor of the catalytic fine particle 3 in a supercritical fluid and bringing the precursor-dissolved fluid into contact with the porous base body 2 so that the precursor-dissolved fluid is made to intrude into the pore 25 to arrange the precursor in the inside of the pore 25. The carrier 1 consists of the body 2 having the pore 25 of≤3.4 nm average pore size and≤0.2 nm standard deviation of the average pore size and the particle 3 arranged in the pore 25. The method for manufacturing the carrier 1 comprises a fluid intrusion step to dissolve the precursor of the particle 3 in the supercritical fluid and bring the precursor-dissolved fluid into contact with the body 2 so that the precursor-dissolved fluid is made to intrude into the pore 25 to arrange the precursor in the inside of the pore 25.
