PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone apparatus with which even particulates (e.g. at most 5μm) can be trapped with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A cyclone 50 includes a cyclone body 51 nearly of a vertical cylindrical shape, a powder-introducing pipe 52, an exhaust pipe 53, and a secondary air-introducing pipe 54. The powder-introducing pipe 52 is provided by peripherally tangentially extending a part of the cyclone body 51 in order to horizontally let in an air-flow containing scattered powder along the inside wall surface of the cyclone body 51. The exhaust pipe 53 is provided penetratingly at the center of a top plate 51c covering the top of the cyclone body in order to discharge upward the air in the cyclone body 51. The air introducing pipe 54 introduces the secondary air tangentially to the cyclone body 51 at a position at 45-180°from the powder-introducing pipe 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
