PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer which can present a clear band by carrying out solely one cycle of an elongation reaction in the PCR method for detecting Q fever bacillus. SOLUTION: The clear band is formed at a position specific to Q fever bacillus in a short time by using a pair of CB1(5'-ACTCAACGCACTGGAACCGC-3') with CB2(5'-TAGCTGAAGCCAATTCGCC3') or a pair of Trans1(5'TATGTATCCACCGTAGCCAGTC-3') with Trans2(5'CCCAACAACACCTCCTTATTC-3') as the primer.
