The use of an aromatic-free solvent mixture which consists of or comprises (A) at least one low-boiling organic solvent and (B) at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of high-boiling and middle-boiling organic solvents, (1) at least one of the organic solvents (A) and/or (B) having a Hildebrand solubility parameter delta (HSP) of between 10.5 and 12.0 (cal/cm<3>)<1/2 >and a hydrogen bonding index (HBI) between -15 and -20, and (2) at least one of the organic solvents, (A) and/or (B), having a Hildebrand solubility parameter delta (HSP) of between 8 and 9.7 (cal/cm<3>)<1/2 >and a hydrogen bonding index (HBI) between 0 and 12, to improve the profile of properties of solventborne mixtures curable physically or thermally and/or with actinic radiation and of the products produced from them; and also a mixture curable physically or thermally and/or with actinic radiation that comprises the aromatic-free solvent mixture.
