<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft superior in machinability when forming a sump portion for an adhesive and in performance of preventing the slip of a component to be adhered. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft S, to the outer periphery of which the component G such as a gear is adhered and fixed via the adhesive, comprises a spiral groove 1 formed in an adhesive portion.
