PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of false detection of ground by reducing the effects of noise accompanied by capacity fluctuation of a vehicle side or an operation of an inverter, or the noise given from the outside of a ground detector. SOLUTION: In the ground detector, the ground is detected from change in a resistance value of an insulation resistance RL whose one end is connected to ground GND. The ground detector comprises a pulse signal generation means 300 outputting pulse signals VOSC repeated in a prescribed cycle, a detection resistance R04 and a coupling capacitor C02 for applying the pulse signals VOSC from the pulse signal generation means 300 to the insulation resistance RL, and an interval integral means 400 integrating difference between a detection voltage Vx appearing at a connection point P of the detection resistance R04 and the coupling capacitor C02 and a reference voltage Vref over a plurality of cycles of the pulse signals VOSC.
