<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for fixing a fuel tank in which the installation accuracy of the fuel tank on a vehicle body floor at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel tank 12 is fixed to a recessed part 14 of a vehicle body floor 10 by a tank band 20. In assembly, the fuel tank 12 is temporarily fitted by using a clamp 22 in a positioned condition with respect to the vehicle body floor 10, and then, permanently fixed thereto by the tank band 20. Since the fuel tank 12 is positioned in the temporarily fixed condition, the installation accuracy of the fuel tank 12 can be enhanced. In addition, since only the resin-made clamp 22 may be added thereto, an assembly device can be simplified, and the cost can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
