PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discriminating a content by housing a small size MD cartridge in a housing case (jacket) with the same size as a CD to enable using a sufficiently big size label, to enable designing a label freely, and to prevent increase in equipment cost at a retail shop by using existing CD racks, display shelves as they are, or the like for display of MDs. SOLUTION: In the MD housing case 1 in which an MD cartridge 20 with a structure for housing rotatably a mini disc 21 in a package 22 is detachably housed, the MD housing case has a rectangular flat shape with the same size as a CD case, and comprises a base plate 3 and a transparent lid member 5, with their one edge pivotably supported in a openable/closable manner, a support plate 2 having a support face 2a detachably fitted to the inner face of the base plate and supporting the rear face of the MD cartridge, and an MD engaging means 10 for supporting detachably the MD cartridge on the support face.
