PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an optical disk device capable of inhibiting vibrations in rotation even for a unbalanced the disk having center-of-mass positions. SOLUTION: A casing 1 has a through groove 12 with a plurality of engagement recessed parts 12a-12f formed on its lower side. The vicinity of one end of a plate spring 11 is engaged with the engagement recessed parts formed on the through groove 12 of the casing 1, the other end is in contact with the upper surface of a chassis 2. Inserting an optical disk 100 in the optical disk device by a user allows a spindle motor 4 to rotate. When the vibration occurs, a vibration detection sensor 10 provided on the chassis 2 detects the vibration to generate a vibration detection signal, turning on an LED 13 (Light Emitting Diode) provided on the front of the casing 1. The plate spring 11 is engaged with the engagement recessed parts inhibiting the vibration while the user confirms the illuminated state of the LED 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
