PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image recorder for recording image data on a recording medium according to an own original file system without performing system conversion of the own original file system, an image viewer device capable of reproducing the image data written on the recording medium by a general-purpose personal computer, its image reproduction program, and the recording medium. SOLUTION: In this digital recorder 1 for recording the image data on the recording medium 20 according to the own original file system, this image recorder which can write management information recognizable by a personal computer mounted with a Windows OS and continuous information of image data by the own original file system in a pseudo FAT area of the recording medium 20.
