PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error processing method for an application development capable of easily estimating an error factor. SOLUTION: This error processing method comprises generating, in occurrence of an exceptional processing by occurrence of an error, the exception name of the exceptional processing and an error detail code. In the occurrence of the exceptional processing, retrieval of a single factor database 250 is performed by use of the exception name by the error as a key to retrieve a failure factor. When the failure factor cannot be retrieved by this retrieval, retrieval of a detail code-by-detail code failure dictionary 240 is performed by use of the error detail code by the error as a key, and the failure factor retrieved thereby is compared with a class included in all objects stored in a class-by-class function class-failure factor dictionary 230 to estimate the failure factor.
