PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste material combustion boiler capable of burning and processing a waste material together with non-waste-based fuel by restraining/preventing the corrosion of a heat transfer tube. SOLUTION: The corrosion progress of the heat transfer tubes 110 is measured by a corrosion sensor 2, a control device 18 controls the drive of a motor 33 for driving a fuel feeder 32 of a waste material fuel system 3 for supplying waste material fuel to reduce a ratio of the waste material fuel in the fuel when corrosion seems to progress. When it is determined that corrosion does not progress, the drive of the motor 33 is controlled to restore the ratio of the waste material fuel to its original value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
