PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing discoloration caused at distillation in the method for distilling an acryloxy group- or methacryloxy group-containing organosilicon compound containing an onium salt structure as a polymerization inhibitor in the presence of hindered phenols or hindered phenols of precursors thereof. SOLUTION: The method for distilling the acryloxy group- or methacryloxy group-containing organosilicon compound involves distilling (A) the acryloxy group- or methacryloxy group-containing organosilicon compound in the presence of (B) the polymerization inhibitor represented by general formulas (1) or (2), and (C) an aliphatic conjugated unsaturated bond-containing compound.
