PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing foreign matters in a fluid pipe which can discharge foreign matters reliably and efficiently to the outside even when the foreign matters are too large to be caught in a filter mesh. SOLUTION: A filtering member 6 is arranged in a case 4 fit to part of the fluid pipe 2 so that the foreign matters are removed by circulating a fluid from the inside of the member 6 toward the outside. A suction pipe 30 having a suction nozzle 40 for sucking flowing water into the member 6 is arranged in the member 6 so that the pipe 30 communicates with the atmosphere through a stop valve 16. The nozzle 40 has an opening through which the large foreign matter can be sucked and is moved spirally on the inside surface of the member 6 for sucking the foreign matters.
