PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insufflation system in which a heating and humidifying device for heating and humidifying insufflating gas for the pneumoperitoneum is easily disassembled resulting in efficient washing work, and also a steam permeable membrane is easily replaced when the membrane is broken. SOLUTION: A tube unit 30 is mounted on the center of a vessel 32, and both the ends of the tube units 30 are connected to a gas supply tube 27 and a pneumoperitoneum tube 10. The center part of the tube unit 30 is made of the vapor permeable membrane 45, and sterile purified water is stored in a water storage part 55 which is formed between the inner periphery of the vessel 32 and the outer periphery of the vapor permeable membrane 45. When gas is supplied from a first sprue part 44 toward a second sprue part 46 when the insufflation of the pneumoperitoneum is performed, the gas includes the water molecules of the sterile purified water permeating the vapor permeable membrane 45 and is heated and humidified. The vapor permeable membrane 45 is integrally formed in the tube unit 30, so that components are easily washed by detaching the tube unit 30 from the vessel 32.
